I’m sorry…. I’m a bit slow with these sort of things. I don’t understand? What pushed Farangis to do that? What was with his pale face afterwards? Did he immediately regret it???
Farangis probably had a stifling and unhappy childhood judging from how he stays in the knights’ headquarters and only returns home if he has business there, along with the sour relationship between him and his father as implied by how he didn’t want to talk about his father. Hence, he probably sought affection desperately from others growing up but got the wrong kind of attention due to his good looks, and ended up thinking that sex = affection as seen from his promiscuous nature. Of course, he would feel lonely deep down as people so far had sought him only for his looks and not his heart or personality, making him feel empty, which was what the MC pointed out and had accurately hit his sore spot. This was probably what provoked Farangis and pushed him to rape the MC to bring him down and make him feel the same emptiness. However, after doing so, naturally, MC was just hurt and broken and Farangis achieved absolutely nothing by raping the MC aside from trampling all over the MC, which Farangis himself is aware of, so he feels doubly shitty and vents his anger and helplessness by punching something as mentioned in the last few lines of the chapter.
This is a pretty common plot line seen in harems, though the sob story absolutely does not justify the rape whatsoever. I don’t mind rape in fiction though, and I definitely read too much into this smut/rape chapter… but hey you asked for clarification, hope this helps you 🙂
